Home at Last
Casey perked up noticeably just going from the hospital to our van. He jabbered to me the whole way home until about 1/2 hour away and then he and I both fell asleep. Last night we managed to make him comfortable with Al and me both in the rocking chair and then he slept in his crib all night. This morning he wanted to go with us into the kitchen so we are trying out the wagon...

Notice the orange cast?? Casey's favorite color!!!

OH MY WORD!
missing you!
praying for yall!
That is some cast! What a brave boy.
Glad all that stress has eased. And so glad to see the little gabber box at home!!!!! He's gonna have the whole family wrapped around his big orange cast!!!!
Oh my goodness! What an ordeal.
Praying that you remain strong and that Casey deals with all of this well.
Peace to you friend.
Oh, Stacey--What a little trooper. I will say a prayer for you. You look so strong in the picture w/ you holding his hand. I think I would be a mess. You are one tough cookie! Take care of that little farmer! Next year no combine rides without a safety net!!!

Oh Stacey! So sorry you had to go through such a tough ordeal. It must have been so hard to see your little guy in so much pain. I'm glad you had the foresight to get a second opinion. What a good mommy! :) Hoping his healing goes quickly and well. I can only imagine how stir crazy a little guy could get when confined to a cast. Keep us updated!
