Recitals and Ball games

Last week Emily had her dance recital and Carter had the first of 2 ball games that were scheduled for the 1st and 2nd grade boys. Unfortunately they were on the same night so Al and I had to split up. Probably the first of many times to come in the future I suppose, but hard just the same. Al and Carter came to Emily's dress rehearsal the night before and Emily and I went to Carter's second ball game Wednesday this week.

I haven't figured blogger out completely yet so my pics are out of order again. I do like the bigger format but am unsure how to move them around now. Oh well. The first one is the finale and the other pics I took the night of the dress rehearsal because there was more lighting. The pics of Carter are before he and Al left for the game that night. Poor Casey and his brother's love!! Ha!

Now I can't figure out how to type in between pics! Ugh!!! I was just going to say that I have a funny thing about pictures of the back of Emily's dance outfits!!

Dancing A to Z 2009

Emily's dance recital was Friday night. She's worked hard all year for this night!!! Plus Friday was the last day of school so we were extra excited.

I splurged and bought myself one of those little video cameras that plugs right in to the USB port!!! There is a learning curve, but I think it's pretty good.

This is a video of the ballet Hoedown. I never realized that video takes forever to load!! I will try and get her other 2 songs up, but thought you might enjoy this first one.

She did so awesome. It's fun to watch her enjoy it so much. She received an award for perfect attendance and was quite proud!!

Emily's Dance recital May 2008

Emily had her dance recital last night for this year, 2008. I am soo proud of her! She has really improved and seems to really love to dance. These are two of the three dances that I took with my camera on rehearsal night so that I could enjoy recital night. The one in the tutu was Chim Chim Cherie and the second one is I'll tumble 4 ya (I remember Boy George from being in school, do you?) I moved a little while I was taping and they are the whole song, so if you don't want to watch all of it, don't! Just enjoy a little! They did a really great job! I thought I would add these for the family who never gets to see Emily dance! I hope all of you can enjoy some of it!

On a side note! I am sorry I haven't blogged much! Don't give up on me, I will do more, it's just been hard with the last day of school and figuring out a pattern where I can sit at the computer! Hope you keep coming back as I will keep posting!!!
