Time Spent

I stayed home from work Tuesday and Casey and I baked an apple cake.

And read this book over and over and over and over and over....

Did I mention that we read Curious George goes to the Hospital?? We know the name of the Doctor and we talk about when we did the things that George does. Every. Time. We. Read. It. I better go out and buy this one and the library won't let me keep it. Will they??

It is just wonderful to think of the effort you are going to to include Casey in as many normal activities. He would have been right up at the counter if he had not been in a cast and he looks so pleased!
Yes, you better get that book. Even when he gets over all this, the book will hold some special memories in years to come.

I would get if for him for x-mas, but it would probably be too late. You are such a good mommy!

You are such a good mommy, making sure he gets to help, even if he is a little "underfoot". You are so creative in making sure he is included! I think we all have those books we have to read again, and again, and again..... Ours is "Go Train, Go!", a Dr. Seuss book about Thomas. We all have it memorized in our house--we don't need the book anymore!! :-) C'mon, George is just a curious little monkey.... like a little boy!

Love the pic of him laying on the floor stirring! I might enjoy baking if I got to lay on the floor! ;)
